Westcare Dental was established in the Trinity westcare medical centre. Being a new facility, all the equipment and rooms are state of the art and purpose built.

Meet our expert team
Dr Marcus Tham | Principal Dentist
Dr Marcus Tham grew up in the Western Suburbs of Adelaide and attended West Lakes Primary School. Marcus completed his dental studies at the University of Adelaide and graduated in 1999. He has practiced predominantly in Adelaide but has had a short stint in the UK.
He is a very experienced dentist who enjoys practicing all aspects of family dentistry, especially treating children, as he has a young family of his own.
Dr Jarrad Newbold
Dr. Jarrad Newbold grew up predominantly in South Australia. He completed his high schooling at St Peters College. He completed his dental training at Adelaide University and graduated in 2016.
He has extensive experience in the management of medically compromised, paediatric and anxious clients. He has a special interest in extractions, restorations, root canals, emergency dental management and diagnostics. He is always keen to show and explain the options that will achieve the results that suit your individual needs.
Dr Akina Wong
Dr Akina Wong graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide. Since then, she has worked in both metropolitan and regional areas in Australia in private dental practice, gaining a broad range of experience.Originally from Macau, Dr Wong moved to Australia to pursue dentistry. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, which helps her communicate effectively with patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds.Dr Wong enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular focus on developing personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. She strongly believes that preventative care is the key to lifelong oral health and is passionate about educating and empowering her patients to take an active role in their dental wellbeing.Outside the clinic, Dr Wong loves cooking and spending time exploring Adelaide with her family and friends.
